Spring Fling Festival in Hidden Valley Lake Needs Twitter/Squidoo Experts
There is going to be a very special party on Saturday, May 16th in Hidden Valley Lake, CA in the Hardesters Shopping Center on Hartmann Rd. It's a Spring Fling Festival. The shopping center just happens to be a Wi-Fi hot spot. Therefore, it is the sort of place you would want to bring a laptop and get online.
This particular county in Northern California is not very tech savvy - even though it is only three hours away from Silicon Valley. We desperately need folks who are tech savvy and live in the surrounding counties - even as far away as San Francisco (two hours to the south) and Sacramento (two hours to the east) to come to this party and help showcase what social media can do (i.e. Twitter and Squidoo).
Meanwhile, I would like all those who read this message to go to http://budurl.com/familyfun and sign the Guest Book with an uplifting comment. By signing the Guest Book, you help enable this little shopping center to make history on Squidoo for a Squidoo Local lens. Amazingly, the site currently ranks in the Top 10 for Squidoo Local sites. It would be wonderful to make the #1 ranking by or before May 16th, the day of the festival. In addition, check out the video on the site. It will really lift your spirits. That video to me demonstrates what is possible when folks CARE, CONNECT and have a GOOD DESIGN. Yes, amazing things can happen where you least expect them - in a train station...or maybe even in a shopping center in rural Norther California. (I seem to recall a rock concert once taking place in a cow pasture in Western New York back in the late '60's. They called it "Woodstock.")
