- I am a part of the "cult" known as Ohio University alumni. Started in PR and publicity over twenty years ago, and have worked with Barry White, Katherine Dunham, Bernice King, and myriad others. Spent a number of years in higher education as a teacher of mass-mediated images of African Americans (have stereotype questions, ask me), while working on political campaigns and other public campaigns. Walked a red carpet and have had a book client on the Essence Bestsellers List TWICE.
I WAS BORN TO DO THIS! That's my motto and the thing that fuels my work. Include as my mentors Howard Landau and Bernardine Douglas, one is the consummate PR pro (Howard) and the other is the consummate media pro (Bernardine), who could ask for more? Mentor some of the hottest and fastest rising stars in PR; women I'm extremely proud of and love. Personal interests are reading, writing and enjoying life.
